Spring Grants Address Hunger and Food Insecurity
Festival of Sharing is excited to announce the Spring 2024 recipients of Growing Access Grants. The Growing Access Grants are offered to approved Festival of Sharing agencies to tackle food insecurity and promote nutrition in Missouri. Agencies who have participated in the Festival of Sharing in the last 5 years are invited to apply for grants of up to $1,000. Over the past few years, the number of grant applications have continued to increase, reaching 25 this year.
With available funds, the grant review committee selected 21 applications to receive funding from $500-1,000. The total amount given was $17,200. Below are the agency names and project summaries. When available, funds from the Missouri Hunger Fund are used for the grant program.
